Spooky Butterfly Halloween Happy Hour

We had a little idea when it came to Halloween planning... What if we took our most unexpected collection (The Melanie, IMO) and turned it into "Blaire Waldorf throws a Halloween Happy Hour"?

Well alrighty then, challenge accepted!

The Melanie collection took a spin and became chic spooky butterfly. To set the scene we turned our igloo rental into a skeletal butterfly cage. By adding sophisticated touches of black and purple butterfly and our guest of honor, Skelli Melly, this became a Halloween look we love.

Check out the full shoot and get inspired to put your own touch on Halloween!

Char-BOO-terie

We crafted a Halloween charcuterie board leaning into purple and black goodies like blackberries, olives, purple-rind cheese, fig crackers, and purple candy corn (a new find to us!).

Frightful Florals

We wanted to give an edgy vibe to these bud vase florals. To do so, we wanted to work in black, a deep purple, and a piercing pop of red. Trader Joe's did not disappoint with these gorgeous deep purple calla lilies. For the black, we simply spray painted bunches of babies breath black.
