We're back with another libation we love... this time work-approved and perfect when you need a little afternoon pick me up - an Iced Lavender London Fog. We are big fans of the traditional London Fog on a cozy day, but while we're still looking for something more refreshing, this iced version is perfect. And the lavender is a must!
So easy to fix yourself a glass between calls or whatever is keeping you busy. Level it up by making your own lavender-inflused simple syrup if you're feeling fancy.
Let us know what you think!
+ 1/4 cup culinary lavender
+ 1 cup hot water
+ 1 tbsp Earl Grey Lavender loose leaf tea (or 1 earl gray tea bag with loose lavender, above)+ 1/2 Tbsp sweetener of choice (simple syrup from your bar cart, homemade simple syrup with lavender boiled down too, or maple syrup)
+ 2/3 cup milk of choice
Steep Earl Grey Lavender tea for 5 mins in hot water and mix in sweetener to dissolve. (make sure it's a heat-friendly glass or mug)
Add ice to The James high ball glass
Pour 1/3 cup milk over ice
Add 2/3 cup tea to the glass (or more, depending how strong you like it)
Garnish with lavender & enjoy!
